I’m wondering the extent to which the new conference will register and impact the national college basketball landscape, who you think will win it, how many bids the conference will get, and anything/everything else you are willing to share. I'm curious about the academic aspect of transfers at traditionally top universities. For example, at Duke it seemed like they would take graduate transfers or transfers entering their sophomore or junior year, but they never took someone going into their senior year. (How can you earn a degree from a college if you were only there 1 year). But they got Blackwell this year who is listed as a senior. I doubt a non athlete could transfer to Duke for their last year of college. How much are academics a factor and year in school for the top universities?
North Florida decided to retain their head coach, who was promoted from a long term assistant position and went 7-25. Do you think ASun schools(and those in other similar conferences) will have trouble attracting national candidates given the transfer environment?
