The Basket Under Review Podcast S1E37: Tourney Talk, Will Wade and more
Like, subscribe, etc.
A quick mid-week, oh-dear-god-the-basketball-is-almost-over-please-no advisory from yours truly: The latest episode of the podcast is out!
Tate and I reviewed all of the action from last weekend, including plenty on the UConn-Duke madness, obviously. But we also took an intentional look back on all of the teams that lost but still played a big part of why the second weekend of the tournament was so fun. It is easy, this time of year, to get only ever focus on the programs still fighting for a national title, but after spending months thinking and writing about all of these teams, it’s nice to take a deep breath and take stock. There will be plenty of time to talk about the Final Four before and after we touch down in Indianapolis later this week.
We also discussed Will Wade’s shameless, ruthless return to LSU, and I got Tate’s latest read on the fascinating UNC coaching search. (I also continue to wonder why Yaxel Lendeborg keeps doing that weird laughing thing during press conferences. It’s awkward.) Plus, you know, tons of the usual silliness, too.
You can check out the video show at YouTube or listen anywhere you get your podcasts. Our producer Kory Aldous has the subject timestamps listed here.
As ever: If you enjoy my written stuff, I’m positive you’ll love the show. Give it a listen. Leave us a glittering review! All of that!
Thanks as always for your attention and support, and look out for more on the Final Four.
